La Rhonda Crosby-Johnson is the author of Unveiled, Jubilee’s Journey and the young adult fiction novel Natural Nia which was a finalist for the Jerry Pinkney Children’s Book Award in 2022.  She is a contributor to the award-winning Life Spices From Seasoned Sistahs anthology series.  Her essays are included in Go, Tell Michelle:  African American Women Write to the New First Lady and the critically acclaimed anthology All The Women In My Family Sing, edited by Deborah Santana.  A proud native of Oakland, California, La Rhonda lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and biggest fan, Ernest Johnson.  She is currently working on her next great work!
